The next person I love, will be some kind of phenomenon.
He will show me that this is not just another game.
Because I am not just another pawn.
My heart is good but near impossible to claim.
I will not instill my baggage upon him
For he is not the reason for my pain
So I’ll go out on a whim,
& fully welcome him to my domain
Where he will find loyalty and respect
With an abundance of trust and admiration.
His needs, I’ll never neglect.
A place where our feelings are never lost in translation.
He will be worth more than his weight in gold.
A man like him will be priceless.
& if we’re lucky, together we’ll grow old.
I’d give him the world for a love that is timeless.
Whoever you may be,
I do not love you yet.
But I can’t wait to see
A love well never regret.
