I am woman. Hear me roar.

I am woman. Watch me soar.

The curve of my hips.

The smirk on my lips.

The reason I smile

A reminder, it’s worthwhile.

A warrior, a fighter and body full of scars.

My dreams and aspirations launch me to the stars.

No longer do I fear of what people say.

They never really had my back anyway.

Strong, anointed, and a powerful Queen.

Whose been blessed to give life to three little beings.

I am woman. So, what do I care?

Of the bold faced lies or the judge mental stares.

I’ll walk, even with cane, head always up high.

Overflowing with gratefulness, for I did not die.

A second chance was given to me and I was raised from the dead.

I remember and ponder on all that HE said.

This chapter is done. A new one awaits.

I’ll run my race fiercely ‘til I enter His gates.
