I Am the Sheep That Got Away

A Poem

I am the sheep that got away

Keeping silent is something I lack

My neurons work, I have to stray

Sorry, I am not coming back

Keeping silent is something I lack

I had questions you don't like asked

Sorry, I am not coming back

My illusions are now unmasked

I had questions you don't like asked

Mom whispers for me to be quiet

But my illusions are unmasked

Did I just spark up a riot?

Mom whispers for me to be quiet

Grandpa is not happy with me

Ooh, I just sparked up a riot!

And I grin with savage glee

Grandpa is not happy with me

His set path I wasn't ever to stray

And I grin with savage glee

I am the sheep that got away
