Hurt Me, Make Me

I wanted him to tell me to stay. But he wanted me to be free. That's the lie he told me.

All this shit takes time.

Patience is my killer.

Dark circles, and long nights.

But I’m finally starting to get my head right.

Who hurt who harder?

You always thought you were smarter.

You would stand your ground.

More courage than I ever found.

Why did you push me away?

Not make me stay?

I told you what I needed.

Yet you stayed conceited.

I only left over and over.

Could I possibly get any lower?

You were my toy.

I was your joy.

I gave you my all.

You put fist the wall.

I just want you to come through.

Hurt me the way I want you to.
