I look into your eyes and see

The hurt that you try to hide

You put on a show, Like you don't care

But it's there, I should know

'Cause it's the same hurt I share

To be left finding out

You can't depend on anyone but yourself

And always filling your mind with doubt

The world, it's a cruel place

Finding it out the hard way

And we have no choice but to stand tall
