DIRECTIONS:

Drive down the highway. Be sure it is dark, very dark. No street lamps, no communities, only the light of the car and the stars. Turn the heat up, all the way. Open the vents completely. This draws heat away from your engine. Now roll down the windows because it is so hot. Now it is so loud. Play the cowpunk album and turn it louder than the rushing wind. Sing along, scream along. Put an arm our the window and feel the resistance, feel the speed. Drive. Drive to Angel. Drive to wherever. But look at the stars. Look at them. Pull over if you must. Look at the stars.
