How the Woods Sin

After a 3 mile walk, my sisters and I planted ourselves to produce art.

The walk, the view, the thought of the woods carry a rich feeling

A warm comfort adjusted to become eerie once within its temple

The depth of the silent woods hold a desolated tone as if longing for a visit

It'll remain mute as long as you return the favor

Although its heritage have survived through more of a surreal lifetime

We believe we can handle its mischievous smile

It has blood scattered amongst the ground which you walk upon

And it greets you sincerely until you've reached far enough to disclose its face

Then, its eyes begin to flair with excitement carved within hope for when you'll visit again

Because as neighbors, they wonder if your blood is next

It weeps from its actions yet, it has an impulse it can't seem to shake off

You've trusted the woods to watch your back but, even the woods need a little fun
