Before the sand and mud pulls at your feet
How far do you go before you realize
It's a sunset not a sunrise
How far do you go before you notice
You've gone too far to even notice
How far do you go before it's too late
To get back to shore without losing your breath
How far is too late, how far is too far
Before you feel hopeless and drown in air
How far before you feel desperate
How far before you feel so much you can't stand it
How far before you can disappear and not regret it.
