How Do I Say I Love You?

never have i gotten off of a roller coaster and fallen so completely in love with the ride.

never have I tried so hard to push away someone I loved while they clung so dearly to my side.

he says “i love you” and means it because he knows what love means.

if he really knew how infinitely I loved him too maybe it would change the way i seem.

i try so hard to shove words out of my mouth but all they do is cling to my cheeks

and i wish i could say “you’re my world” in as many ways as you can but my vocabulary is weak

so ill continue to grasp your arm & kiss your neck, hoping you hear what im trying to say

im saying i love you and that’s never going to change
