Sometimes I wonder why
Then remember who I'm talking too
There are plenty of things we know but choose to not see
Close our eyes and pretend everything is pretty
I feel there are plenty of opportunities
To grow and build
But if we bypass the lessons we have to learn them again
So I choose to say I will learn my way
But to not be misconstrued
Put my hands on the wheel and say I'm in control of my view
Weight on the pedal and I'm driving fast
Stop signs up ahead
And I will stop.
