“I think your smile is prettier than the sunset,”

He told me with his blue eyes shining.

I know he hates it when I lose control and get upset,

But he either makes me smile or won’t stop trying.

Like a storm cloud constantly following me around,

I seem to never have the sun glisten over me.

But he keeps my feet planted firmly on the ground,

Showing me a truer love than I’ve ever come to see.

Without his light to guide me through darkness,

I’d be lost in a never-ending tunnel of sorrow.

He seems to keep me from being heartless,

And always makes sure I stay here until tomorrow.
