This big king bed
Feels lonely without you
Even though
I only spent one night
With you where you are
It seems like
So long ago
We were in separate rooms
In separate beds
And yet
I could feel you
Next to me
Your smell
Had lingered on the pillows
That you let me borrow
And your memory
Lingers in my heart
But now there is a gap
Since I have
Heard not a whisper
From your teasing lips
That I long
To steal from
Once more
And to feel the warmth
Of your arms
Surrounding me
In their ever
Loving embrace
