Park
I woke up to the sound of my mom yelling for me to get ready. I got up and realized today was the day for the party. We needed to go the the neighbors party because my mom promised to make her special dish. I got up and went threw my whole closet. I found skinny jeans and a white long sleeve shirt. Everybody in the neighborhood was going to be there, including him. We arrived to the house and when we went through the door they greeted us and then I went to sit down. I stood there on my phone for a while. I looked up and I finally saw him. We've been friends for as long as I could remember and I've always liked him. The day went on until dark. I was tired and wanted to leave, so I went to the park. I told my mom I was leaving and headed out the door. As I was about to leave I felt a hand grab my arm. I turned around and it was him. He asked me where I was headed and said to the park. He let go of my arm, grabbed a basketball and a jacket from his house and then we headed to the park. As we were walking he kept moving closer to me. Soon he got so close our hands touched. We finally got to the park and we played basketball for the time. We played one on one, of course he won, he always wins. After we took a break, I laid down on the grass. I looked up at the stars and just stood there. He put the basketball down and laid right next to me. We talked and laughed for a while. He looked so cute under the starlight. He looked at me and I looked back at him. He started to move closer. We stood like that for a good minute, I couldn't help but smile. All of a sudden he got up. He dusted off his pants and held out his hand to pull me up. He said we needed to head back since it was already gonna be midnight. I got up and we walked back. We got closer to where we part ways. Once we reached the corner he stopped and looked at me. He said he needed to tell me something. I was nervous and I just looked at him. He said that he liked me. I was shocked, I smiled and told him I liked him too. Before I could say anything else he wrapped his hands around my waist and kissed me.
