Her Eggs Are All in One Basket

From the moment that she is born,

her eggs are all in one basket.

She grows and matures in stature,

but she has all that she ever will have.

Approximately two million eggs,

in one uniquely woven basket.

Many of the eggs volunteer as tributes,

in the first more tender years of her life.

It sad that many have to make the sacrifice,

but it is just the way of nature, of course.

She may have a few eggs to have a special task,

they may be the ones to meet up and make life.
