Her

In a world filled with darkness,

She is the brightness.

In a world filled with evil,

She is the good.

Maybe it was just to me,

But she was everything.

Everything that I wanted to be,

And everything I wanted for me.

Could she have kept it away?

The horrors in my head,

And the monsters beneath my bed,

Could the light overthrow the dark?

Even if it could,

She would never aid,

For I am merely a loyal pawn in this game of chest,

And she is the holy queen.
