Held On for Today
Short Poem. When Personal Vendetta Turns Grievance

At first a euphemism not left entirely in peace,
Dancing in the midnight
sweep the emotions of the damaged souls.
Yet tattered lay the aspirations of that day
When the occasion finally arrived, that once sweetly bitter
,But naive,
dream faded into nothing,
Faster than an artist drys his brush.
One part of the two, one half stays sober. The second completely intoxicated by life's infatuated glory
Switch and turn off the foolish necessity of the reckoned,
if one likes to feel content become the first half, not the second.
