Heartbreak in Rhyme
The Fear of Hearts Splintering Put into Rhyme

She carried her heart
On her head not her sleeve
For it was harder to lose
When her love had to leave
They could not just snip
Her heart from her jacket
They had to knock off
Or fully attack it
Very few have the time
Or the effort to spare
To shoot her heart off
And into the air
So she holds her heart
Close to her head
Since if someone attacked it
She'd rather be dead
