Heart Beats

'Thund Thund' (Normal but loud)

She feels her heart pounding against her chest as she walks in the room

She's terrified of what he might say

Then he starts walking towards her

He simply says "Hey, you okay?" as he approaches her

'Thund Thund' (2x faster)

She inhales his wonderful cologne

Terrified of the disappointment she is to him

Smile and says "Always am"

Then he leans in to hug her

'Thund Thund' (3x faster)

She doesn't know how to react

She can hardly breathe

She hopes he doesn't feel her heart beat pound against her chest

Then he moves her hair and strokes her cheek

'Thund Thund' (4x faster)

She starts having a mini panic attack

Unsure of what he's doing

She wish he would notice how nervous she truly is

He starts to smile and lean in but then

'Thund Thund' (Slower than normal)

He just walks away as if he wasn't going to do anything

A piece of her breaks as he walks away

Still inhaling his amazing cologne

She walks away and pretends as if she never felt anything at all
