The Knife in Your Hand

You grabbed your red and black paint

And painted a target on my chest

The paint was so cold

And the brush was tough like bristles

While the image of your body

Was getting tattooed in my head

You took one look

And said that it was perfect

Without a second though

You ended my life

Carving your initials

Straight into the pump

That kept me alive
