A Glimpse Inside

I got lost today

Turned my brain up

And watched the flashing images

The man screamed at me again today

Not sure who he is

The bleeding won't stop

The car whizzed by going the wrong way

Why was he going the wrong way?

There's blood everywhere

My scars ache

My knuckles clench

Too loud

I turn it down

Skateboarding down a hill

Catch a rock

Everything seems to

slow down and speed up at the same time

Scraping down the asphalt

I can feel it to the bone

Still too loud

Broke the knob

Shit I broke it

Shit

Everything gets louder

Fuck

The man won't stop screaming

The TV

My head won't stop screaming

Everything is too bright

Fuck I broke it

My fist slams into the door

Once, twice, three, four

I can feel something break

It's the TV

Static

I can't open my hand

At least the blood is dry
