He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

Do I Love Myself Enough?

You looked at me while I looked away, all amazed, of the beauty you gained.

You love me?

As our day came to an end, you pick up your phone and called another girl... friend.

You love me not?

I hear a knock on my door, with roses the same color I adore, with a card saying that I am your world.

You love me?

I look in your car I see sunflowers, who are those for? Your mother, thats at home waiting for them? But she’s right behind my door...

You love me not?

Red rose pedals on my floor, with a heart that all of sudden starts to feel sore. I scream at the top of my lungs, I can’t no more. I shut the door wipe my tears, then send a text to you saying “could you please come back.”

You love me?

You’re here and I fear you’re all I’ve got. Would I only feel that way because you love me not? But how could one love a person who questions themselves...

Do I love myself enough?
