Our life at this point I did not understand

I felt some connection when I shook your hand

I silently wondered "Did he feel it too? "

My heart raced and I didn't know why

With you I wasn't even able to be shy

That's how I had always been

Until that feeling with you began

I underestimated what love could truly do

It could make the strongest come unglued

Your best friend had made a mistake

Introducing us had signed his fate

No more did I feel the same for him

It was you I craved with every limb

I did not know how to approach this with you

Would you laugh at me and think me a fool

Well here we are almost 11 years past

I as your wife and a love that will last

You took those vows just as scared as me

However it happened I am happy with thee

You still send tingles down my spine

I am thrilled to say "he is mine"
