Have You Ever Had Love?

Have you ever had a love like the stars? Like you just couldn’t explain why it was there? You knew it was important inherently as if somehow you were born able to comprehend the beauty of the stars without really understanding why other things were beautiful. Have you ever had love like that?

Have you ever had love like the wind? It goes and goes and goes and it’s all around you all the time, so you really don’t notice it because you get so used to it being there. You aren’t a sailor so it really isn’t all that important but have you ever thought about your life without the wind? Without a soft breeze on a warm summers day to make you say, “Wow this is really just perfect” because without the wind it isn’t perfect anymore. Have you ever had love like that?

Have you ever had love like a current in the ocean? Where every time you try to swim out it just pulls you under and puts you farther out in the ocean. You fight and swim as hard as you can but you only get pulled out further and further and further until the people on the shore look like ants in a white sea?

Have you ever had love where you realized that no matter what you want or how much you want it to change it’s going to be there, like the stars and the wind and the current?
