Hard Hitting Hope

Hope is sometimes empty

with eternal pains

It could hide in a cave

It can only sleep

when it supposed to help

And it is fascinated

by desperate measures

Does hope only bring

offerings of tears?

Maybe one day hope

will fly for everyone

Please let hope help

Because it can make a face shine

It will cover you

It will bring you love

And I have hope

Please let me be

As I fill myself with hope

Because I always get drunk

with this feeling

And fall hard many times

Always in trouble

And needing hope

for faith to stick around

And you know, hope hits hard

Just hope not too hard sometimes
