Happy Pain
And I'm happy, but it still hurts.

The flowers are choking me
Which is strange
'Cause flowers are supposed to make you feel full inside
The beauty and joy they bring upon remains
I'm overflowing though
With loads of happy pain
The flowers make me feel beautiful and worthy
But they're growing at a pace I can't catch up with
Vines and roots wrapping around my sensitive flesh
Red-rimmed rings appear around the very part that makes my self connect
Slowly easing my worries
But ruining the glory
How do I rip apart something so pretty?
With my love and endurance
I sprint towards the gate
Through the harsh winds
Yet, I still can't escape
I'm choking
I'm bleeding from the thorns poking
Leave me
Leave me be
So I can go in a happy pain
