Happiness

I use to think happiness would be obtained if I had a lot of money or if I had the plethora of things money could buy,

but true happiness could never be that shallow

looking for happiness was my mission for so long,

always looking else where for happiness.

I now understand that I must find happiness inside,

I must search through this internal pain,

in this pain lies the happiness I seek,

the love that I always needed from others was in me,

true happiness is ambiguous,

I know it feels content, content in love.....
