Hands

I took your hand, but I didn't feel anything.

I was out that night, with my usual crowd.

You must have seen me come in.

You asked me to dance, but

I wasn't into it.

I didn't expect it.

You seem to like me a lot, but I don't

Like you past our friendship.

You said she's your type. Why don't you

Ask her to dance? Approach her.

I don't like her that way, so please,

Take her away.

Am I more approachable? Does she scare you?

Ask her to dance.

Her hands are small, like mine, but

Hers' felt cold, unlike my own.
