Hail

Zephyrs II

I hail from a hailless land,

Like a flea hopped on a hairless head,

Missing misting misanthropic,

Balding scalding showers.

I hail from a hailless land,

No hail nor filléd pail of rain,

Nor sleet nor heat when melt again,

No snow, a desert biopic.

I hail from a hailless land,

I sail about my first spring bout,

I muddle forest with the jungle,

My mind in one big tangled bungle, because I see a wet bug - me, myopic.

I hail from a hailless land,

Likely decisive, light correctéd,

The hot then cooléd cooler topic,

I for once can face forefront.

I hail from a hailless land,

At first this new land I could hardly stand:

Now Cali can stay in its bubbl’d sand,

Not a bubble to face forefront except to expect its veil of dust, myopic.
