Maybe if I come into a life and become more than what I was born to be.
To dream and create a new universe of reality being put in to a humans palm grasping the entire life of beings that live within.
To strive for glory and achieve what others haven't CREATING AN ENDLESS CYCLE OF TRUTH!!! I was not born here but I was raised here.
To see for others and travel the planes in which it is hard for others to comprehend that the stains are not permanent.
These stains will heal with the power of my father I can do anything if I choose to believe it.
I wonder... is that what it means to be a guardian.

I promise her. I'd do anything for her. She's my mom. Even as Lanie and Deanna are flying home, Mom is scrappy fighting dying. She lays too still in that too-big bed with all the toasty white hospital blankets, in the south tower, at the broad end of a long slow-turning corner that delivers me again to her private room with the view she can't see through, with the beeping that tells us nothing new, and all these ice chips she can't swallow, and a flood of well-intentioned nurses who cannot do a damned thing all the same.
