Growing Pains

There is something about the cool air of Autumn

That brings me sadness

Especially when I am alone with my thoughts

I’m sure if I thought longer and harder about it

I could pinpoint exactly why that is

But it’s actually not always about finding an answer to the questions we have

Sometimes it’s just about sitting in the uncomfortable

And growing from it

Again

And again

Oddly enough

It’s just like the leaves on the trees

They may feel uncomfortable

When the cooler weather comes

But they, the trees

The bigger picture

Will survive

And grow those leaves

Again

And again
