Goodbye My Love

No pain no gain is what they say, well I feel that pain every day. There is a void where you used to be, a deepening hole only I see. I put on a face and play fine, no one knows this pain of mine. A lost love that I thought would stay, forever and always you used to say. Then it changed to something unknown, long gone is that once loving tone. Now to figure which road to take, while in silence my heart continues to break. But one day it will all be understood, once again I'll be good.
