Good Job Today

A Poem

You woke and got out of bed

Good job today.

You cried as you applied your makeup

Good job today.

You walked out the front door to your car

Good job today.

You returned to work

Good job today.

You greeted hello with a smile

Good job today.

You settled yourself next to him

Good job today.

You pinched your arm to stop from crying

Good job today.

You clocked out and walked towards your car

Good job today.

He came from behind and slipped a bill in your purse

Good job today.

You followed to his car

Good job today.

You completed your second job

Good job today.

You nearly crashed your car driving home

Good job today.

You lay restlessly in bed

Good job today.

You put your bedside picture of your son facing down

Good job today.

You hate yourself

Good job today, love.
