Going Home

Into the Ravine, Up on Wings

Dirt, sand, gravel, tar

roads and rivers, slowly winding trails

clouds, winds, stirring grass, tasks

mountains full of beauty, and tracks

Jostling feathers, whispering critters, mystery shimmer, spying trolls

hands carrying the lifeblood of the burned machine treasure

a person, peaceful, memories from others, down there falling unrelenting tears

drifting, sputtering, warmth fading quick, tragedy

Rustling leaves, flowing streams, tearing seams, creating dreams

knowing, seething, disbelieving, still attempting with spirits unreal treaties

others seeing, concerned, greeting, gently bringing her back from world only torqued

continuing, retrieving the machine, sobbing, releasing into the ravine where growing was his favorite thuja

About the Creator

Pippa Ramirez

I've grown up writing poems whenever there was an opportunity. I love inspiring people to do what they love and writing is my favorite way to connect with those of us who have much to say but very little spoken words.
