Glimpse of You

I see a glimpse of your face in every crowd

I see you fading into the background

I am not sure what happened or how we got to this place

But I know that once you have disappeared; you will be gone forever

I see images of you everywhere I go

Longing for you to return back to me

I know that we were meant to be together after all

And I know that someday you will see that as well

I see a glimpse of your smile from across the room

I see the shape of your form whenever I go out

I can't seem to get you off of my mind; so why did you leave?

I have hope that you will miss me as well

I hear your kind words that you always said to me being whispered in my ear

I feel your presence around me much like I feel the wind on my face

I see a glimpse of your sparkly eyes watching me from a distance

I feel like my heart won't be complete without you in it

I feel you near me when times get rough, I hear your loving voice

I know deep down that you didn't really mean those things that you said to me

I see a glimpse of the life that we once had in every picture I look at

I will never stop loving you or waiting for your soul to return to me.
