I am yielding
much like water.
I most always choose
the path least resistant.
Some are wise to channel
the energy that drives me.
Still some are foolish
with useless attempts
to contain me.
Your obstacles,
may cause an affect
on my course,
but my destiny...
remains intact.
For I shall,
persistently locate,
expose and utilize
each of your weakest.
In time creating
the inevitable destruction
of the very walls
that damn me.
I can not be kept.
I am motion.
I am cleansing.
I am life.
Be forewarned...
when I am free
I shall set forth
with such a power…
it may only be rivaled

Stuck in Place
Amy whistled as she walked through her front yard, looking for any sticks she could pick up and throw into the pile she and her brother were making. They had a big windstorm recently; as such, all the trees in their yard had suffered some damage in some loss of sticks. Or perhaps losing those sticks was a good thing since their trees probably needed to be pruned anyway. Amy wasn't sure.
