I look in the mirror,
and what do I see?
The things in the mirror,
aren't really me.
I take a long look,
and count to three.
Then I make a list of
the things I see.
I see my hair,
My smile,
My eyes,
I see my fat rolls
down to my thighs,
I look in the mirror,
and what do I see?
That girl staring back,
Isn't really me.
I stare at the mirror,
but what it doesn't show;
is who I really am or
The things that I know.
I am not a reflection of
a thick girl with rolls
but a beauty like no other,
whose love for herself grows.
