Generations of Dreams

I dream of a life far beyond the norm.

A life in the stars, apart from physical form.

Time is non existent and money, not a factor.

A world where politics don't dictate economic fracture.

An existence where discovery and curiosity is part of every day.

Somewhere ideas are expressed openly without judgemental hearsay.

Where humanity is the only race,

And justice isn't something we have to chase.

A life where we contribute equally to the advancement of our fellow humans.

Where we can see the reward of progress in a bright and radiant lumen.

Where there is no famine and no child left behind.

Somewhere that this terrible tragedy isn't active; the one that we designed.

An existence where there is mutual respect for every single person.

Where we don't take offense to every unique individuals assertions.

I dream of a life where we don't constantly argue wrong and right,

An existence where our race can finally take flight.

A place where we can gaze upon this vast and beautiful existence everyday...

And not have anxiety, stress, paranoia; to worry that our neighbor might take it away.

Unfortunately, I know that this movement may never take place within my lifetime...

But, I can teach my children, who will teach their children, who will someday, shine.
