Game of Life

Let's play.

It’s so hard now-a-days to decipher fake and real

Who knew there would be some hands in life you’d be forced to deal?

Who knew in this life, the game was manipulated?

I didn’t know life had so many poker faces

Learning by trial and error, so you roll the dice for a taste of heaven

But today is not your day to get that lucky 7

You feel obligated to play, you came so far

For what’s life without a gamble besides playing cards?

Got the ace of spades, but life’s not playing Spades

The world’s no longer black & white, just 50 Shades of Grey

Tried my luck but I hit the 8 ball in

Tried my best to get 21, but I got the number 10

With no ace to help dig me out of my own grave

-Save me from myself-
