From the Mind
I have spent a long while swirling words around my brain. Sometimes they sit there manifesting, slowing burning away and suddenly, they dissipate. Gone from the mind.
A year ago I bought a note book while travelling in Athens with my boyfriend. It was moleskin. Mint green. He said “beautiful writing should be laid rest in beautiful binding”.
I began spilling onto the pages light pieces of poetry. I never thought I’d find solace in the genre but here we are. I have embraced it and allowed it’s form to flower my thoughts onto its pages.
Many see beauty in writing in different ways. It is subjective, wild, disturbing and eternal. All created from the mind.
