From the Coal, I Turned Diamonds

All in due process

for many centuries, my inner warrior has remained stagnant

i never bothered awakening it until now

like, i don’t know what happened but

i felt it wasn’t necessary to utilize it at all

for many centuries, pressure came from all ends

at first, a lot of it was too much for me 2 take

little did i know, i being was shaping into something grander

starting from absolutely nothing, obtaining my stripes

thru’ conquering battles of low self-esteem, depression, and PTSD

for many centuries, the world hasn’t really seen a lot of bright minds solidify themselves

many of them have come and gone, that’s the order around here

i always knew that i wanted to re-defy the writing world, face it head on

seeing where it would bring me

it would pave the way for extreme growth

the gamble isn’t that risky, let’s publish a book

for many centuries, from the coal—

i turned diamonds

i made the impossible something you can conquer

children nowadays are in danger

save them, let them know they’re valued

let those kids know their existence isn’t a mistake

or some sick coincidence

from the coal, i turned diamonds

made them prance to the tunes of my drive
