Friendzone Cycle

The Unappreciated

You walk down an isle of Autumn leaves

Kicking against the fallen parts of trees

You look up and there she is

You haven't seen her in a long while

Old feelings, old crush, resurrects

Past promises, past sacrifices, burning incense

You meet her and ask how she has been

The guy she chose over you, cheated on her

You become her rock in such times

You become her beacon when the snow slides by

You always watch over her wounds all night

You dry her tears after crying with all her might

You show her how to live again

You show her how to cross out the pain

Months pass, you feel even more attracted towards her

You tell her how you feel, she says nothing

One month later, she says yes to another guy

And tells you how nice he is and how happy he makes her

And off she goes to this other guy

Things are back to square one, lonely nights

No calls, no text, no nothing

How does this story end, begin from the beginning

And some might ask why some people are Philophobic?

Why not? The gain in evol is microscopic
