Friendship

There are these peculiar human beings that find us at some point in time.

Rather it is by coincidence, or with a purpose.

Some are meant to stay, and some are meant to go.

Some become family, while some become enemies.

Some bring us coffee out of thought.

Some may bring us our favorite donuts.

Some will even banquet us with a feast.

Some will stick around for a lifetime, while some for only a mere second.

These human beings may cross our minds often; some might not ever.

One thing is for certain; they can live a thousand miles away, or down the street.

They can be heard from daily, or not even a peep.

But at the end of the day, they're what we call friends.
