Frail

............?

There's been an uproar over my downpour,

If it's loneliness you feel at the top perhaps you should be looking

Down more.

Today I just may challenge your frown with each and every

Dimple,

It seems that it's becoming more difficult to be

Simple.

Taking back any ounce of power you think that I gave

You,

Soon you'll realize I'm one of the ones that can save

You.

Reaping what we sew, but who's to say I'm hanging on by a

Thread,

Amongst the frantic chickens I'm the one still hanging on to my

Head.

It seems I may have lost count of the blessings that I've

Caught,

What exactly have I learned from the lessons that I've

Taught?

The keys to my heart, who's making you a

Pair?

I can surely make you wise by making you

Aware.

World, surrender all of your beauty and everything I found

Stunning,

Even if I don't land on my feet I'll still hit the ground

Running.

You heard word of mouth that I wasn't built for this

Dentistry,

I don't have to branch out to prove that I could dent

This tree.

Persuaded to come along once they realized that they wanted

"New,"

They wanted me to belong but I really never wanted

To.

The "dull" offer pointers, though surprised when I need

Few,

Bandaging your lacerated ego awaiting patiently for it to bleed

Through.

"It's all gravy" according to the smothered facts,

To see without seeing, why am I trying to follow these covered

Tracks?

Stuck in this moment, is that a good enough reason for standing

Still?

Let my appreciation shine favor toward the possibility of me

Standing, still.
