Take a breath, life’s not a game

But it’s always going to be an uphill struggle.

Every second that you have

Savour it, it will not last

Time will come and you have no second chance.

Years have taught my mind to change

The paths I took have been rearranged

For the certainties I knew, did not come to pass.

I know right now you think a lot

Of yourself but you’ve got to know

That you’ve still a lot to learn

But your time will come.

How can I get through to you

When you think you know what to do.

The words I want to tell my younger self

Are lost in translation.

You may think I’m a never was

When like you I had the chance to change the world

But I didn’t hear my call

So now here I am.

So build your future, think a lot
