Forgotten

Unnoticeable

It’s as if I am invisible

Forgotten and alone

No one sees me

No one hears me

No one feels me enter a room

I am the background character in all their lives

Forgotten and unnamed

Not needed in their story

Not wanted to be seen

Not wanted to be heard

Not wanted to be felt in their world

If I were to leave tonight maybe they’d finally notice

Gone but now not forgotten

Finally seen

Finally heard

Finally felt leaving their story
