The loss of someone you loves takes a toll. A toll much greater than we know.
The day you took your last breath. Was the day my heart stopped its beat. The day the sun fell from the sky.
My world grew cold, to cold for flowers and trees. My world fell dull, all the colors faded away.
And I was chained to the gate. The one that separated your world from mine. I am stuck, staring from the other side. Screaming your name. But you can never answer my call. While I stay and fade away.
