Forbidden Treasure

This story of ours resembles a revival Strong and able

to withhold from all storms until it became clear

We both had some growing to do in our separate ways;

I’ve been replaying our special moments in my head for months

Trying to mend this heart of mine sometimes

I feel as if you were a figment of my imagination,

someone I made up but memories and photographs say

otherwise and it brings tears to my eyes knowing there

can never be a time machine so I can replay those beautiful memories;

Life is funny and we have to go through the motions so never regret the

process of life because we all grow apart but those memories will never

lose its importance…
