For You There Is a Song

Poem

IT’S TRUE THERE IS A

SONG THERE FOR YOU

IT SEEKS ITS SHELTER ALONG

BROKEN CARDS

STACKED HIGH

INTO BUILDINGS

READY TO

FALL AND LEAVE BEHIND

A LONELY TUNE DANCING

TILL DEATH

PLAY

THE DREAM OF HIGHWAYS

LONG AND DISTANT AND CURLED UP INTO TIGHT KNOTS

BUNCHED LIKE A FIST

GOING NOWHERE WITH MORE STRANGERS

THAN THESE ROADS SHOULD EVER KNOW

THEY STAND IN DOORWAYS DO NOT BE AFRAID

THEY KNOW THE WAY

AND IF THEY PRAY IN A THOUSAND DIFFERENT VOICES

AND CHANGE THEIR FACES TOWARDS THE WINDS

THAT CARRY

GOLDEN MARCHES OF PLEASURES AND BURDENS

SHELTERED

BY THE CLEAN SUFFERINGS HARD, DESIGNED, IT’S TRUE

FOR YOU THERE IS A SONG

NO OTHER

FRENZIED DEEP

FOR ME TO FALL IN

WITH YOU
