For Her

True Love Never Lasts

Life is so cruel it decided that I should live without you

How can I go on? Knowing you are not where you belong

I mesmerized your face, I traced it all with my fingertips and I thank grace

For this love that I do not deserve you are an angel I cannot reserve

I wonder how you feel being free while I am stuck here feeling lonely

You were the only love I known the only love I got to call my own

Will you be there waiting for me? Or will I just let you be?

Every night it gets harder thinking about the lonely mornings without you by my side

Our love was one of a kind, but I guess fate made up its mind

No one can replace your love my little dove

Please take the pain away I need you here it’s plain as day

I will never have the chance to kiss those lips that made my dreams come true

My only dream was to love you for all my life, but I never got the chance to make you my wife

Someone take the dread away, thrust a stake through my heart, please make it fade

I need you here smiling in front of me not above me out of reach
