Almost as comforting as the

Heart shaped stain

On their green foyer carpet.

Love stained into the

Foundation of their home.

Can see but also you feel it.

Like the wind that cools the

Hesitancy of the earth - unsure

Of the source;

Almost as comforting

As individual drops of pineapple

Ginger

Apple and

Pear

Seep into a bowl that’s nowhere

Close to overflow.

And I’ll see the bowl half full not

Half empty.

I see the stain shaped heart

As a full heart.

Let me feel again.
